The original head coach of the Pokers for the first four seasons, years ago John turned over the reigns to a professional. While John still helps at every practice, he believes with players at this age, it is best to have professional training and a professional coach to evaluate each player without any bias. John equates his job to that of an MLB General Manager. He is proud that many of the original players on the current squad have been there since the team formed. John is originally from St. Louis and resides in Parkland with his wife, Tami, his daughter, Nicole, and his son, Johnny. Tami also helps out in the dugout as the team's scorekeeper
